My Digital Collage

Among the above applications, my favourite is Facebook because i can keep connected to my friends and see what they are up to. When I'm bored I can also take quizzes made by my friends and play games.

Places I've been during the school holidays

View Places I've been during the school holidays in a larger map

In this post I left out what i did during the places i visited during my school holidays. At Pasir Ris Park, i went cycling with some of my classmates. At Downtown East I went to catch a movie with my friends too.I usually eat lunch at White Sands.

I would like to thank Rayner for helping me embed this map into my blog.

Google Maps

I found out using Google Maps that the suggested route to SST was taking a train from Pasir Ris MRT station to Clementi MRT station. From there i will walk to SST. Besides telling me suggested routes to SST, Google Maps also tells me the time taken to reach SST. I believe that the information Google Maps provides me with is very useful as it helps me find the best route to a location that i may not know how to get to or a different, possibly shorter route, to a location that i already know.

My feelings when i got the comfirmation letter

This is what i felt when i got the confirmation letter. I was elated that all the hard work and effort i had put into my studies had paid off and i got a place in SST, my dream school. What i felt was similar to the feelings the Americans had when they captured the island of Iwo Jima during World War 2.

My first time creating a blog

At first, i was a little hesitant about creating a blog as i thought i would not have enough time to update it on a regular basis. Now that SST has made it compulsory for me to create a blog, i found it quite interesting. After some time, I hope to find out how to use other functions in the blog. I now understand how blogging can be part of our learning experience at SST. We can use the blog to do reflections on class work or a learning journey that the school takes us on. We can also see what our friends think on certain subjects and on school work. Creating a blog will be a great experience for me! :)
